Jessica Alba has got herself into a bit of a fix.
By her own admission she said: "I should have used better judgment."
She's certainly the last person we'd think of as a vandal.
Luckily for Jess, police in Oklahoma City have decided not to press charges after the 28-year-old mum became involved in an illegal poster campaign on behalf of a conservation group.
Jess, who is currently residing in the city while filming her upcoming flick, The Killer Inside Me, was persuaded to paste shark posters over selected properties, in order to campaign against animal cruelty.
Police have now confirmed no action will be taken, because none of the property owners involved are willing to pursue a vandalism case against the actress.
"The decision has been made to close the case," Police Sgt Gary Knight told Us Magazine.
"The case will not be presented to the district attorney's office."
Jessica earlier expressed remorse over her actions, saying: "I got involved in something I should have had no part of.
"I realise that I should have used better judgment, and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people behind this campaign."
