Jennifer Lopez has always seemed a sorted kinda lady.
So her latest chat has us raising an eyebrow.
The glam star has admitted she once suffered a nervous breakdown.
J.Lo told The Daily Beast that things became too much for her while filming 2002 movie Enough, which starred her in the role of a wife fleeing an abusive husband.
"There was a time when I was very overworked and I was doing music and movies and so many things. I was suffering from a lack of sleep. And I did have a kind of nervous breakdown," Jen admitted.
"I froze up on a set. Well, not on a set, but in my trailer. I was like, 'I don’t want to move. I don’t want to talk. I don’t want to do anything.'"
"There were no signs leading up to it. You really don't know what's happening at first," she continued.
"It's funny what tricks your mind plays on you. I just didn't want people to think I was falling apart."
The 39-year-old said she had also been warned to expect post-natal depression after the birth of twins Max and Emme this February.
"People kept prepping me for it, but it didn't happen," she said.
"At the 10th day after giving birth all that chemical stuff did peak - that hormone thing - and I did cry a lot that day because I was having so much trouble moving (after her Cesarean section)."
In the frank interview, J.Lo also defended her belief in Scientology, saying:
"I just wish that people wouldn't judge it without knowing what it is."
She added that she would be happy for her children to attend a Scientology school in the future.
