John Leslie must be breathing a sigh of relief.
The former Blue Peter presenter had been facing a rape allegation dating back to 1995.
But now police have taken action on the claims.
Scotland Yard have confirmed that they are dropping the enquiry against John, which came to light last month.
They said that following Crown Prosecution advice, no further action would be taken on the accusation involving John, who was acquitted on a separate charge of indecent assault in 2003.
John's solicitors said the 43-year-old was "delighted" that it has been confirmed "there is no truth or substance to the damaging allegations".
