Jordan has revealed more about her split with Peter Andre.
In an emotional interview, she told Fabulous magazine: "I know why we divorced, but it's such a stupid thing. I'm not saying I'm an angel. But I know I'm not a bad person.
"There's just one word for it - jealousy. Jealousy killed my relationship."
The former glamour model also spoke frankly about her miscarriage in May this year.
She said: "I lost the baby. Four days later, I ran the London Marathon bleeding. A week later I was getting divorced.
"It's not right for a man to leave a woman after they've just lost a baby, after seeing a picture in a paper that triggers them to leave."
Jordan is referring to pictures that made headlines of her on a night out with her dressage coach, Andrew Gould, earlier this year.
Now she reckons things have turned into a bit of a popularity game.
"Pete is always being pictured with the kids, and I don't want to play that game. It's like Monopoly - and I'm in jail.
"I've run out of 'Get out of jail free' cards. But it's all fun and games, whatever dice is thrown next, bring it on.
"I've been doing this job since I was 17, I've been in relationships and split up. I've always come out worst. It's nothing new," she added.
And the outspoken mum of three refuses to behave the way anyone else wants her to.
"When I split from Pete everyone said I had to lie low and stay in. But I was the one who'd been dumped.
"Am I supposed to sit here and wait for him to say: 'Right, Kate, you can have a boyfriend now, you can do this, you can do that'? If he doesn't want me, I'm going to live my life."
She continued: "I'm not going to choose somebody who satisfies everybody else's needs.
"If he ticks my boxes and my kids like him, then that's all I'm worried about. I've introduced him (Alex Reid) to my children and my family. He's not the man he's made out to be."
And while
Jordan says she's can be a "b***h" in business, she admits she's a softie when it comes to men.
"I want to be touched, loved, treated like cotton wool. But I'm not the kind of girl to just go out and sleep with guys.
"Love is more important to me. I want to snuggle up on the sofa with somebody - I like having someone there."
But, she also said tellingly: "People need to be heartbroken. People need to hurt to know how to make themselves strong.
"I've been hurt in the past. That's probably why I dealt with the Pete thing so well. I never trust a man 100 per cent. I don't think anyone should."
