Kate Winslet Kate Winslet This is almost getting boring for Kate Winslet...

The British star has scooped yet another major win - this time at the 15th Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles.

Kate's supporting actress gong came for her role in The Reader - which has already won her a Golden Globe, and a best actress Oscar nomination.

But unlike the Globes, this wasn't a double whammy for Kate, with Meryl Streep pipping her to the best actress accolade - for which Kate was nominated for Revolutionary Road.

At least it gives some of the other ladies a vague chance...

Heath Ledger received another posthumous award for best supporting actor for his part as The Joker in The Dark Knight.

And in terms of best actors, it was Sean Penn's moment for his role in Milk.

Best film cast went to Slumdog Millionaire - giving it more than a fighting chance at the Oscars next month.
