But then, we never really know what to expect next in the Jordan vs Peter Andre saga.

Katie has now begged people to stop slating her estranged husband, Peter.

The Twitter appeal came after someone supposedly sent her four letters threatening to kill her boyfriend, Alex Reid, along with her seven horses.

The notes have been assembled from letters cut from newspapers just like a ransom demand.

One chillingly read: "I am going to kill the horses" while another was signed "Team Andre".

Although there was no mention of Pete, Katie's clearly decided to to take no chances.

She pleaded on Twitter: “Please leave my horses alone, like my children, they are my life.

"Don’t attack my kids, family, friends, horses or Pete. You can attack me, it’s fine, go ahead, but don’t attack them. Don’t attack Pete.”

Jordan's said to be in tears over the threats and is now stepping up security at her £2.5million Surrey mansion.

A spokesman for Hampshire Police confirmed: "We have received information that threatening or inappropriate comments have been made on a website and are investigating."
