The 30-year-old's career has taken an unexpected swerve towards the arena of dance.
Showcasing previously untapped talent (s'cuse the pun), Tom Cruise's missus has been limbering up for a one-off special appearance on US TV show So You Think You Can Dance?, hosted by Cat Deeley.
And the skill change certainly suits the star, who looked slick 'n' hip with hair extensions and a tummy-flaunting top as she arrived at an LA studio to pre-record the programme.
Of course, we all know that Katie has many facets to her showbiz personality.
She's starred on Broadway, run a marathon and orchestrated a convincing impression of Posh in her time.
But this new dancing thang seems to have brought out a much foxier side to the former teen sweetheart, who Tom Cruise and daughter Suri went to watch as she performed her star toe-tapping turn this weekend.
