Katie Holmes may be thanking her lucky stars right now.
Because reports say she had a close escape from a blazing car.
Katie's scary encounter apparently happened as she filmed her latest flick in Melbourne, Australia.
The hard-working Mrs Cruise was said to be sitting in a BMW on the set of low-budget movie, Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark.
According to the Daily Mail the car battery suddenly began to smoke and give off fumes, and Katie quickly clambered out.
Just moments later the vehicle supposedly burst into flames.
Sources said Katie was said to be "shaken" and "very nervous" about her near run-in with disaster, but other reports have said she's fine and the story is a fabrication.
