Kelly BrookKelly BrookKelly Brook might not be on Ant and Dec's Christmas list.

The presenter and actress has had a pop at popular TV presenting duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

And it's all to do with her being laid off from her judge's role on Britain's Got Talent earlier this year.

"There was nothing I could do in this country after Britain's Got Talent," Kelly told the Daily Mail.

"The people at ITV were telling me that I had upset Ant and Dec and that was it.

"I would love to have stayed on the show. I really felt it was working out. Ant and Dec had never been anything but pleasant to my face but, clearly, they didn't want me on the show."

Speaking about the moment when it all went wrong she says: "On the first day, there were loads of press photographers there and I was meeting everybody at the same time for the first time.

"I can't remember exactly what I said to Ant and Dec, but it was something like: 'What will you two be doing backstage on the show?'

"Of course I knew what they did on the show. I'll admit that I hadn't spent every Saturday night at home watching BGT, but I had seen it."Ant and Dec Ant and Dec

Kelly says the other judges were welcoming and encouraging - but doesn't have the same fondness for the Geordie pair.

"Basically, I just don't think Ant and Dec liked me. Their egos are such that they were saying to themselves 'How dare she think she can come on to our show?' and since then they've been very vocal about their displeasure at me being there.

But sweet Kelly says she bears no hard feelings.

"I have to say it's the first experience I have had of that kind of behaviour and I was shocked by it, actually.

"I would like to apologise to them now if they thought I didn't know who they were.

"I do think they are very talented guys who are great at what they do. People love them on television and that's why they work consistently."

But that's not the only problem Kelly's dealing with at the moment.

She admits she finds it difficult to be taken seriously and is trying to play down her busty bombshell image.

"I regard myself as an actress but, obviously, not in the Dame Judi Dench league. That isn't a problem because I don't think we are ever likely to be up for the same part."

She adds: "I admit there was a time in my early 20s when I was really vamping it up and showing off, but I have toned that down a lot and I do make a conscious effort not to appear overly sexy."

We have contacted Kelly's rep regarding the above story and await comment.
