And that's exactly what Kelly Brook did yesterday as she made her first public outing since being axed from Britain's Got Talent.

Kel was on her way to a meeting when she was snapped smiling for the paps in a stunning pink shift and coat combo.

The actress looked as if she didn't have a care in the world after what many would consider quite an embarrassing situation.

Maybe it was SimoSimon Cowell n Cowell who cheered her up?

Si told the Daily Mirror that he rang Kel yesterday to say sorry.

"I have spoken to Kelly on the phone and apologised," he said. "She was very pragmatic and very professional about it, although obviously a bit sad.

"I am sure she had shed a couple of tears but she's a tough little cookie."

He also said that he offered her a job on his spin-off show Britain's Got More Talent to make up for all the drama.

"I've offered Kelly a part on my ITV2 show," he said. "I actually like her - she was good, she was fine."

IF she accepts, we just hope Kel reads the very fine print this time.
