Gossip Girl star Kelly Rutherford has given birth to a baby girl.
But despite this happy news, all is not well in the world of her family.
Daniel Giersch, her husband who she is currently divorcing, reportedly says he wasn't informed of his daughter's birth.
The couple's second child, Helena, was born on Monday.
In a statement to People.com, German entrepreneur Daniel said: "I was never informed by Kelly about the birth of our daughter, nor was I invited to attend. In fact, I found out about it through internet reports like everyone else.
"Although this sickens me, I am of course overjoyed that our baby was born healthy. I would've wanted nothing more than to hold our newborn daughter for a few moments, and I only seek to co-parent both our children responsibly and with love."
According to Kelly's publicist, Jill Fritzo: "The doctors advised that no one be in the birthing room; (Daniel) was notified when (Helena) was born and was immediately invited to come see her."
Daniel and Kelly are currently locked in custody over their other child, two-year-old Hermes.
