Her slurry speech on ITV show This Morning sparked widespread concern.
Now Kerry Katona has spoken out about the fiasco.
She's furious about how she's been "stitched up".
The drama kicked off yesterday, after Kerry appeared to struggle to stay focused during an interview with Fern Britton and Phillip Schofield.
Slurring her words and becoming defensive with Fern over her drinking habits, Kerry's erratic behaviour caused worried viewers to phone in.
It also prompted speculation that she may have consumed alcohol prior to the appearance.
However, the typically feisty 28-year-old has now fought back - insisting that Fern 'n' Phil somehow set her up.
"I'm not drunk and I haven't got a booze problem," Kerry told Heatworld.
"I haven't taken any drugs, either. I'm drinking no more than I ever have done before and no more than anyone else."
"Don't get me wrong, I like a drink and all last week on holiday I was pissed as a fart," she continued.
"I feel completely stitched up. Why would I go on a TV programme pissed, do I look stupid?
"I'll never go on that programme again, I'm extremely annoyed at how they made me look. They're meant to be nice people and I've been interviewed by them many times before.
"But I've got an illness and they should appreciate that. It's all down to the amount of tablets I'm on for my bi-polar disorder. I'm fine now, I was only like I was this morning because I took my tablets too late last night."
Kerry's husband Mark confirmed this adding: "She took her tablets at midnight and she should have taken them at about eight o'clock. That's all it is, she definitely hasn't got a booze problem."
Meanwhile Kerry's rep, Max Clifford, has said he is "increasingly concerned" for his client's welfare following this latest TV debacle.
