Actor David Carradine has been found dead in a hotel room in Bangkok.
But it's not yet clear whether it was an intentional suicide.
His manager, Tiffany Smith, and his personal manager, Chuck Binder, don't believe that this is the case.
According to People, Tiffany said: "I can tell you 100 percent that he would have never committed suicide.
"He was too full of life."
Thai police said the 72-year-old actor, who acted in movies like Kill Bill and Kung Fu, was found by a hotel maid at the Park Nai Lert hotel on Thursday morning.
He was sitting in a wardrobe with a rope around his neck and genitals on Thursday morning, reports the BBC.
Police have also said that there were no apparent signs of a struggle, and the case is likely to be treated as suicide.
People quotes police Colonel Somprasong Yentuam, chief of the Lumpini area station as saying: "We believe that Mr. David committed suicide, but it is suspicious."
However, Tiffany has said: "We are not saying it's an accidental death because we don't know.
"Right now we are just letting everyone know that it's under investigation and we'll see. I just know he didn't do this to himself."
His niece, actress Martha Plimpton, said in a statement: "My Uncle David was a brilliantly talented, fiercely intelligent and generous man.
"He was the nexus of our family in so many ways, and drew us together over the years and kept us connected. I adored him as a child, and as an adult I admired and respected him. We will all miss him terribly."
David was in Thailand filming a movie titled Stretch.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Bierman, and four children.
