Kym Marsh has been granted a quickie divorce from Jack Ryder.
The Corrie actress admitted she got together with Hollyoaks' actor Jamie Lomas while she was still married and was granted the divorce by the High Court yesterday.
However, a statement released through ITV cleared up the idea she cheated on Jack: "She and Jack Ryder announced their separation in March 2008.
"She met Jamie Lomas in May 2008 and shortly afterwards began a relationship with him.
"There is no suggestion that the adultery was committed whilst she and Mr Ryder were still together - the date of the adultery on the papers is July 2008.
"It is only classed as adultery for the purpose of the divorce papers because she and Mr Ryder were still married when she began her relationship with Mr Lomas."
Kym, 32, and former EastEnders actor Jack, 27, got together in 2002 when she was still jigging about in Hear'Say.
Kim has agreed to pay part of the legal bill after the divorce was granted on the grounds that the marriage had irretrievably broken down.
