We're used to Michael Lohan mouthing off about his famous child.
But his latest chat on Lindsay Lohan is dramatic even by his indiscreet standards.
Michael, 49, who enjoys a reportedly strained relationship with his daughter, told The Maury Povich Show in the US that he fears Lindsay's party lifestyle is endangering her life.
"I've seen what it's done to a talented girl that can't even get a movie anymore," he explained.
"I'm getting her off this stuff. I don't care if it's the death of me. I'm not going to bury you (Lindsay)."
When host Maury Povich remarked Li-Lo looks "wasted", he replied: "You don't have any clue".
In light of these rather ominous claims, Michael may be pleased to hear that Lindsay has in fact recently been offered a role - by Britain's very own BBC.
The Hollywood actress told Metro that the broadcaster had approached her to front a documentary on child trafficking in India.
"I'm a little nervous but I'm excited to do something like that," she said.
