Lily Allen's not a happy camper.
She's upset over comments she thinks have been twisted to sound as if she condones drug use.
So much so, her rep has issued a statement about it all.
Gulp.
This is pretty serious for Lil who normally takes to her MySpace page to air her thoughts.
The upset came about after Lily described her song Everybody's At It to The Word magazine:
"The only story is that drugs are bad and they will kill you - you will become a prostitute, a rapist or a dealer. But that's not true.
"I know lots of people that take cocaine three nights a week and get up and go to work everyday, no problem at all."
After some media outlets suggested Lily appeared to be supporting the use of drugs, her publicist decided to release the following statement:
"At no point does she say that drugs are a good thing or that she condones drug use, in fact, she says that 'I can spot the signs (of people on drugs) and it terrifies me'.
"The song itself talks about a culture of both legally prescribed drugs like anti-depressants and also illegal drug use.
"Lily Allen would like to state unequivocally that she does not condone illegal drug use and has every sympathy with individuals and families whose lives have been blighted by drugs."
If that's not loud and clear, we don't know what is.
