We think not.

For weeks now it's been churning out prattle about Madonna, Guy Ritchie and baseball star Alex Rodriguez.

Just recently Madge issued a statement saying: "My husband and I are not planning on getting a divorce."

She also addressed rumours regarding Alex, saying: "I brought my kids to a Yankee game. I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez."

She also said: "I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage."

Sadly the state of that marriage is not the most healthy and now Alex's wife, Cynthia, has had her say.

According to People, Cynthia's legal representative, Earle Lilly, has said: "The correct analysis is a relationship.

"Some people categorise an affair as something as sexual infidelity. We're not claiming that. It's an affair of the heart."

Earle went on to say: "Madonna's name is not even mentioned in the (divorce) papers.

"We don't want the public to think this is an aggressive action against Madonna."

On Monday, according to People, Cynthia's Miami attorney filed a divorce petition. Among the statements they quote from the court documents, is one which reads: "This is an action for dissolution of marriage, which is being filed only after (Cynthia Rodriguez) has exhausted every effort to salvage the marriage of the parties."

Legal representatives for Alex have not yet commented, and neither have Madge's people yet on this latest news.
