Madonna has accepted damages from a British newspaper.
The undisclosed payout comes after the newspaper published photos of her wedding to Guy Ritchie, which she said were stolen from her house.
According to the Associated Press, Madonna did not appear in court but her lawyer John Kelly confirmed she accepted the payout from the Mail On Sunday.
Madonna will donate the money received to her charity, Raising Malawi.
Earlier reports suggested the Queen of Pop had asked for more than £5m pounds in damages.
When she and Guy announced they were parting ways last year, the newspaper, who reports say initially turned down the snaps, then purchased them.
Madonna's lawyer told the court that the newspaper had not consulted her about the use of the pictures, or she would have sought to stop them being published.
Sky News reports that the Associated Newspapers' Niri Shan said the paper accepted it had been wrong to publish the pictures, which, until they were published in October 2008, had never been published before.
