Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon So listen up y'all, cos Mariah Carey's in town.

And not that she's high maintenance or anything...

But it just so happens the whole wide world seems to have stood still in the wake of her arrival.

Maz and her hubby Nick Cannon were mobbed by adoring fans as they rocked up at the London's Dorchester hotel ahead of her appearance on The X Factor.

And strangely enough, the star didn't mind the adulation.

In fact, we would say she was lapping it up...

Mariah's luggage But that's all by the by - what really made us aware of Mariah's superstar status is the amount of luggage she had going down.

It took several porters what looks like several hours to unload Maz's tons of suitcases from their trolleys.

Bear in mind this is only a whistle-stop visit for the star.

But ever-primed, she seems to have brought enough clobber to fill half of Wales.

Let it never be said that Mariah's a diva.

She's just very well-prepared...
