London-based hairdresser Michael has won awards for his trademark diamond dry cut technique and is about to launch a product range that promises thicker hair.
He tells us what sets his salon apart from the high street, and more about this new miracle range.
Q. What's the biggest misconception about hair?
A. There are far fewer limitations on styles than people think. People are generally working towards a balanced ideal of face shape - no one wants to look too fat, too thin, too short, too poor or too stupid - but most styles can be adapted. There are few absolutes to a stylist who can
infinitely refine and adapt styles to personalise them.
Q. What makes your salon different?
A. It’s only in the high street salons where stylists are locked into 6 - 10 blueprint styles that they cannot adapt, where clients are regularly advised to steer clear of particular looks. We cut hair dry, and every style we create is unique and tailor made.
