Lindsay Lohan has found a new potential British soulmate.

Someone who can nurse her heartache and get her through the bad times...

Yes folks, we're talking former Scary Spice, otherwise known as our very own Mel B.

Mel and Li-Lo were spotted getting pally recently, after Lindsay arrived to see the fit one perform in her new Las Vegas play, Peep Show.

According to onlookers quoted in the Daily Mirror, Linds was "blown away with Mel's hot body and provocative dancing".

The 22-year-old singleton reportedly ran over to congratulate Mel, and then had a heart-to-heart with her, which apparently included a revelation from Linds that she was "back on men".

Who knows whether this last bit is just spurious goss... but Li-Lo sure seemed comfy in Mel's company, as the two new pals posed for the cameras at the bash (left).

If anyone's in need of a friend right now, it's Lindsay - especially given the fact that she's claimed celebs such as Nicole Richie have shunned her following her split from Sam.

And we can't think of anyone better placed than the down to earth Mel to offer Lindsay a shoulder to cry on.
