The lady has been spied on holiday with her ex.

That's right, Mel and estranged hubby Wayne Roberts have been snapped hanging out on a beach in Cornwall, Newquay.

Now, you may remember that early on in April we received shock news that the couple, who were married for nine years, had decided on a trial separation.

The couple have three kiddiewinks - Morgan, eight, Flynn, six, and EvieWayne Roberts, four.

However, it seems they decided to do the family thang in Cornwall, as these snaps show them arriving at the seaside.

Apart from the shiny sun in the snaps, look at what our eyes spied on Wayne's important finger - why, a wedding band.

So, being the die-hard romantics we are, naturally we'd love it if the pair were back together.

But once we get our heads out the clouds, we have to admit they could've just set out for a family day as friends to have some fun with the kids, right?

Still, we prefer the mushy version where everyone lives happily ever after...
