In Spice Girl terms, Mel CMel C is a late baby bloomer.

But while she may be the last of the girls to pop out a kidlet, she isn't any less excited.

It seems Mel wants to keep the element of surprise to her birthing.

She told Al Murray on his chat show that she doesn't know if she's carrying a boy or a girl.

So which Spice Girl is she going to call upon for babysitting duties after she's had the little bundle?

Well it seems she wasn't keen to give an answer and joked: "Any of their nannies."

But then was quick to do some back-pedalling, saying: "Well they're all mums and they're all really good mums actually."
