A sample of Michael Jackson's burnt hair has sold at auction for £1,140.
The follicles in question were singed as the King Of Pop filmed an advert for Pepsi 25 years ago, when fireworks that went off behind him torched his hair.
Michael, then 25, suffered second-degree burns in the incident, and began taking painkillers to help the pain shortly after.
Producer Ralph Cohen, who helped the star after the explosion, later confessed that he collected a few strands of MJ's hair and kept them.
The auctioneer described the specimen as "a highly unusual souvenir of the King Of Pop".
