Michael Jackson Michael Jackson Michael Jackson's death certificate has been amended to suggest his death may have been a homicide, according to The Associated Press.

It now reflects toxicology reports and comments from coroner's officials which suggest the cause of his death could be the result of another person.

The "fatal injury" is now described as "injection by another".

Investigators have said the King of Pop was killed by a mix of the powerful anaesthetic propofol and another sedative.

The updated certificate is said to list "acute propofol intoxication" as the main cause of death and "benzodiazepine" as a contributing factor.

Michael's doctor Dr Conrad Murray apparently told detectives he gave the superstar sedatives and propofol to help him sleep.

The amended report does not automatically mean a crime has been committed, but it does make it easier for criminal charges to be brought if prosecutors decide it's necessary.

No criminal charges have been filed yet over Michael's death, and the public copy of his death certificate has not been changed to register where Michael's final resting place will be when he's buried this Thursday.
