The big winners included Beyonce and Lady Gaga at the superstar-studded awards do in New York last night.

Beyonce's many gongs included video of the year, while Lady Gaga picked up best new artist, along with two others.

Britney Spears picked up best pop video, while Green Day scooped three trophies.
