The wait is over, girls: Kate Moss’ new Christmas collection has arrived at Topshop and looks to be one of her best yet.
In the model’s twelfth collaboration with the high street giant, the collection has taken strong influence from the Orient as well as the latest trends and her own signature look.
Dresses and blouses are etched with Far Eastern lotus flower designs, vibrant firework showers, butterflies and bamboo prints, while power-shouldered, embellished knits, lace bodysuits, asymmetric cuts and sequinned party frocks bring us the edgy Ms Moss styling we’ve come to expect.
But that’s not all to get excited about. This season the collection includes even more lingerie and for the first time extends to nightwear. Expect vintage-inspired bras and knickers in pink lace and satin, plus fierce animal prints and floral pops. Loungewear continues the Oriental theme, with kimono style dressing gowns and delicate bedtime slips and teddies.
And her favourite pieces from the collection? “I love the short 30s-style dressing gown and the matching night dress,” she revealed. “I was inspired by one of my favourite vintage pieces and it's perfect for the getting-ready part of the evening.”
