Ever since their surprise nuptials in May, there's been constant speculation about their marriage and quite frankly folks, it doesn't appear to be true.

The generous stud has spent a whopping £1m on a five-bedroom ski chalet in Aspen for his snow bunny bride.

"Nick is clearly still in the honeymoon phase," a source told the Daily Mirror. "He's shocked all their pals by going out of his way to nab Mariah this beautiful sanctuary."

"He doesn't want her to go to the hassle of renting," said the source. "He knows Aspen is one of her most favourite places in the world so this is his early Christmas present to her."

In recent weeks, rumours have also swirled that Mariah is in fact pregnant.

The speculation came to a head when Ellen DeGeneres challenged the singer to reveal the truth by tempting her with a glass of champagne on her talk show - after asking her if she was pregnant.

Mariah in fact refused to drink the bubbly and acted slightly coy on the subject.
