For most women, giving birth is a bit of a challenge.
There's hardly anyone out there who would say it's a breeze.
No surprise, then, that Nicole Kidman is thankful for her "easy" labour.
The 41-year-old actress has revealed she was terrified about going through labour in the run-up to giving birth to her first biological child, Sunday Rose, in July this year.
"I'd heard horror stories of 40 hours of labour, and I was sure that would be me," the star told America's Glamour magazine.
But luckily for Nic, who has two adopted children from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise, the process turned out to be far less daunting than she anticipated.
How come? Well, apparently it was in part due to her hubby, Keith Urban...
"Keith was my rock during childbirth," Nicole revealed.
"I had a very easy labour. And through it all, Keith's eyes gave me such strength."
That - and the gas and air, perchance?
