You know we like nothing more than to lose ourselves in the world of the surgically enhanced.
But there's a spanner to be thrown in our telly loving works.
Nip/Tuck is going to be leaving a hole in our viewing.
Alas, it has been confirmed that the show is finito after six series.
But hold on a min - don't think it's being snatched away any time soon.
The show, which stars Julian McMahon and Dylan Walsh as plastic surgeons, will end with its 100th episode in early 2011.
Phew... plenty of time to lap up the goods.
John Landgraf, president of FX Network, which airs the show, said: "It's really hard to be commercially successful and creatively excellent, especially when you have serialised shows."
He told reporters on Tuesday: "I believe they have a diminishing return. If you had 150 episodes of The Sopranos or The Shield, you would diminish the calibre of those shows."
And to put your minds further at rest, executive producer Ryan Murphy has signed on for the remainder of the show's run.
