Angelina Jolie has got us totally foxed.

Whoever thought pregnancy could be so confusing?

Let us try and make this as simple as possible for you...

To make sure you're in the baby loop, we're passing over all the info we have about Ange's baby popping.

Yesterday, we heard word that Ange had really, truly given birth to her twins at a hospital in Nice, France.

French Closer reported that it had all happened that morning, on the 1st July. Hold the phones and stop the presses, eh?

But then Ange's peeps chipped in with some words of their own and none of them confirmed she'd given birth. Her spokesman said in an email to Reuters that she is "doing great, very healthy and happy".

And let's not forget what a hospital spokeswoman had to say: "Ms Jolie came to the hospital last night as part of a pre-planned rest period, before she gives birth.

"The visit has been planned for a long time, there are no complications. She is just resting."

So that's all we know for now and we wouldn't want to go jumping to conclusions...

You can't blame us for being cautious - remember the baby baloney in late May, saying Ange had dropped?
