Yep, we've been chowing down on some bizarre news indeed.

Pamela Anderson has tipped up in a way we'd never have expected...

On Australia's Big Brother.

She shocked the life our of Aussie housemates by arriving as a contestant yesterday.

And in typical Pammy style she pitched up in the skimpiest of attire - wearing a little red dress.

She will spend three days there after bosses flew her in to try to boost flagging ratings.

And the Channel Ten show's hosts dubbed her "the ultimate intruder".

The grande fromages on the show have a sense of humour at least - they asked the six existing inmates to pretend to be paps as they brought in the "mystery guest" behind a frosted glass screen.

The choice of contestant certainly met with the male nods of approval. Then to celebrate Pammy's arrival they all moved to the back room for a "feast fit for a superstar".

Don't know about you, but we're pretty bowled over by this latest move - but hey, we love it when celebs mix it up.
