We heard a wicked whisper this weekend that chilled us to the bone.
According to an Australian newspaper, Orlando Bloom got engaged to Miranda Kerr.
You can imagine how we wailed.
However, despite gorging on ice cream and getting through a fair few packets of Kleenex, we did get some rest before coming into work...
Only to discover that the whole engagement rumour is just that.
There's no truth to it at all.
Rejoice.
A rep for Miranda Kerr said: "The story ... is completely false and misleading.
"Miranda herself has clearly stated she is not engaged. There is nothing else to be said."
You're wrong there matey - we have this to say: "Hooray, hoorah, there's hope for us yet."
