Pam Anderson gave us great pleasure last week.
She was the subject of one of our fave ever stories.
But now she's gone and ruined it all for us.
The blonde star laughed off rumours that she's dating Michael Jackson.
We knew it was all tres speco when we first reported it - but we still lived in hope as it was such an amusing pairing.
Alas, our dreams of a pairing have been dashed by Pam herself.
She told Ellen DeGeneres on her chat show: "He just wants me to be in a video.
"My life is so interesting. My life is a blur.
But Ellen didn't let it go that easy, she asked: "So seriously, have you been hanging out with him?"
"It happens... skin cancer and Vicodin." she replied cryptically (that's an understatement, we haven't a clue what she's on about).
"I don’t know - I have a lot of interesting friends."
Even though she's said it's a no, we feel there's still something enticingly mysterious surrounding this story. Or are we just being hopeful?
