Paris Hilton's Los Angeles home has been broken into.
The crime took place in the early hours of Friday morning, police have confirmed.
It is thought the thief, confirmed as a man acting alone, made off with property worth in the region of $2m (about £1.3m).
Luckily Paris was not at home when the break-in occured and it was her security guard who raised the alarm.
The police are confident they will catch the man, with Charlie Beck, head of the department's detective bureau, telling the LA Times:
"I expect we'll be able to apprehend the culprit here based on some of the information we have".
