The bubble-headed heiress insists that the last thing she wants to be is a Wag.

"I didn't want to start dating Ronaldo because I've got no intention of ending up becoming some kind of footballer's wife,” explained Paris.

"People were saying we were the new Posh and Becks… but it's not true."

 A hot and steamy relationship between the blonde socialite and the world's highest-paid, perma-tanned footie star looked to be on the cards, after they were spotted canoodling in an LA nightclub last month. But, alas, it isn't to be.

And while Paris says she doesn't fancy being the Real Madrid player's bit of arm candy, she's got nothing but praise for the real deal.

"Posh and Becks are a beautiful and amazing couple, but I would not want to be just a footballer's wife," she continued.

"Posh has managed to do so much more than just be classed as Becks' woman. But some girls just become known for being a footballer's girl.

"I wouldn't ever want to be pigeon-holed like that."
