Patrick Swayze has talked about his "battle" with cancer.
And how it has inspired him.
Patrick, who announced he had pancreatic cancer eight months ago, spoke of the difficulties he faced enduring chemotherapy to the New York Times.
He explained: "It's a battle zone I go through... chemo, no matter how you cut it, is hell on wheels."
The Dirty Dancing star, who has been working on TV series The Beast since his diagnosis, discussed how he has used his work to keep his morale high during this troubled time.
Pat said: "How do you nurture a positive attitude when all the statistics say you're a dead man? You go to work.
"I do find myself, at the end of the day, sort of catching myself with a smile on my face... I'm proud of what I'm doing."
Speaking about how the illness has changed his career ideals, he went on: "I've made a pretty decent mark so far - nothing to scoff at. But it does make you think, 'Wait a minute. There's more I want to do. Lots more. Get on with it.'"
It looks like his positivity is serving him well as he has regained 20lb of the weight he lost during chemo with "muscle building shakes" and is managing to work 12 hour days.
Impressive stuff, Patrick. We hope you continue to get better...
