So it's understandable Patsy Kensit, 40, may have mixed feelings on marriage.

The buxom actress reckons she's only now reached the right point in her life to get hitched.

"I'm probably at the right age to marry for the first time in my life," Patsy, who has previously been married to Dan Donovan, Jim Kerr and Liam Gallagher, told She magazine.

"I think it's only now that I have the maturity I need to enter into that sort of commitment. I wasn't really ready for marriage at 20, nor at 24."

"He bought me a beautiful ring last year and marriage is very much something we were discussing, but it's not like he dropped down on bended knee - we are taking our time about it - and there are no immediate plans."

She continued: "I'm very much in love with him and we are very much together, but I feel that so much of my personal life has been played out on a rather public stage in the last few years that I am desperate to keep this relationship as private as possible."

Patsy also chatted about her current relationship with DJ Jeremy Healy - the twosome split for a brief period earlier this year, but are now firmly back on track.
