Peter Andre Peter Andre's insisted his split from Jordan wasn't on a whim.

The singer has also said that he's always been "100%" faithful to her.

Writing in his New magazine column this week, Pete has laid his heart bare and explained why he decided to leave.

He said: "It's really important to me, though, that people know I didn't just wake up one day and decide to leave on a whim.

"My children have always been the most important thing in my life and they always will be."

On reports that he and Jordan had a showdown last week, he said: "We haven't met up once since we split and have no plans to either."

He also commented on reports about Jordan and her ex-boyfriend, Dane Bowers, and comments from Big Brother 8's Billi Bhatti, saying they were "very painful" to him.

He said: "Apparently, I've got one woman out in Cyprus, another in Los Angeles and I'm even supposed to be involved with a member of staff.

"I can hold my head up high and say I've been 100% faithful throughout my marriage and still am, and any reports suggesting otherwise are totally hurtful and false."

He has also found a new seven-bedroom home in Hove, near Brighton, and said: "The whole top floor is a master bedroom, so I think I'll be pretty comfortable there, and I've asked my brother Mike if he'd like to move in with me."

He also said that former Big Brother contestant Chantelle Houghton's comments that she would marry him were "very sweet".

Other reports allege that Pete and Jordan are set for a 'quickie divorce', but there's been no official word to confirm this yet.
