And us girls from the Showbiz Shed were there to catch it. 

And we were dying to have a yarn with the illustrious fash-pack.

While many stars like Erin O'Connor, Anastacia, and Sophie Ellis-Bextor were happy to stop and chat to us lovely ladies...

Younger It Girls like Alexa Chung, Alice Dellal and, in particular, Pixie Geldof chose to snub the press.

On stepping onto the black carpet, Pixie immediately stole the show with an outfit that left very little to the imagination.

Her barely there chain mail caused a furore of flashbulbs from the press, who were falling over each other to chat with the elf-like teen.

But sadly guys, Pixie did not deliver, ignoring the press in a bid to uphold that too-cool creed she tends to channel.

Pixie arrived on the rug with an equally remote Alice Dellal, and it seemed that all the besties wanted to do was giggle like a gaggle of schoolgirls, and pose for a few pics.

In any case, we had a glorious time chatting to the much more experienced red-carpet veterans...

Like gorgeous model Erin O'Connor, who said she "had fun filming her new Marks and Spencer ad".

And Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who told us that she "loves being pregnant and will be taking time off after the baby arrives".

And, how could we forget down-to-earth Anastacia? The singer hilariously revealed her past fashion errors to us. My, how we chuckled with her.

Pixie et al, you should take a cue from these pros.
