A third person has been arrested over the alleged theft of goods from Victoria and David Beckham's Hertfordshire mansion.
Twenty-five-year-old Gareth Emmett went voluntarily to police for questioning.
He is the son of the Beckhams' housekeepers, Eric and June Emmett, who have already been arrested on suspicion of theft.
Like his parents, Gareth was quizzed by officers over mementos belonging to the Beckhams - including sportswear and dresses - which appeared for sale on eBay.
The alarm was raised after Vic's parents spotted the items, including a never-worn football boot, up for auction on the site.
Gareth was last night released on bail, having denied theft. Sources have indicated that he and his family told police that the Beckhams gave them the items in question as gifts.
Dad Eric vehemently rejects the idea that his family stole anything, telling The Sun:
"We're totally innocent. It's a total fabrication. It's all got totally out of control. We had free access to the house and I looked after the cars and other bits.
"My wife had known Victoria for 10 years. It's a misunderstanding. "
