Victoria Beckham has been benched.
(It's a footballing term, dontcha know).
Vic is staying on the sidelines to make room for the other love in hubby David's life - football.
It seems she won't be accompanying Golden Balls to Milan after all, where the mega-star is signed on to play with AC Milan.
"Everyone knows how much I love my wife and my children but at the same time I love football," David said.
"My children will remain in Los Angeles due to school and Victoria will remain with them."
Shame for Posh. She was said to be super-excited about her European plans.
Back in November, when the family move was first revealed she gushed about wanting to set up shop within the fashionable Milanese society, saying: "We are so supportive, myself and the children.
"It's a great opportunity for him. It will be a wonderful experience for the family."
Now David will only have eyes for the game, as Vic will only be making brief visits.
He said: "When Victoria comes to Milan she will remain with me for a couple of days."
