The X Factor is all about the scandal this year.
We've only just drawn breath from the whole Laura White debacle...
And now Rachel Hylton has gone and accidently ignited some controversy.
Broadcast watchdog Ofcom have received around 50 complaints after the X wannabe jokingly used a gun gesture on last week's show.
The viewers in question were apparently offended when Rachel momentarily lifted her two fingers into the shape of a gun and pointed it at Daniel Evans, ahead of her sing-off with him at the end of the programme.
An inside source from The X Factor told The Sun:
"It's a street gesture, it's like slang.
"Rachel didn't mean anything by it. Daniel actually jokingly made the signal back to her."
An official spokeswoman for the show added:
"Rachel in no way meant any offence by her hand gestures on Saturday night."
Let's hope that spells the end to the episode - we've had enough drama on the show to last us an entire lifetime...
