She went to dinner last night with a hotly contested piece of Hollywood crumpet.

Yes, ladies and gents, we're talking about Bradley Cooper - Renee's Case 39 co-star who's previously been linked to Jennifer Aniston and Cameron Diaz.

Renee and Brad apparently enjoyed a cosy meal at top New York restaurant Antonucci, with one diner telling OK! magazine: "Throughout the dinner they were playful and flirty. She played with her hair a lot, and she would often touch his arm when she was making a point about something."

So what's going on here? Well, it's always possible they were just chatting business - alBradley Cooper and Renee Zellweger in Parisbeit in a very animated manner.

But the fact that both stars made a conscious effort to leave the eaterie separately is a bit fishy. And let's not forget they were snapped just a week ago in Paris, looking very friendly together (right).

Couple that with the knowledge that Bradley is a bit of charmer when it comes to Hollywood babes... so the potential for romance is definitely alive.
