Robbie Williams Robbie Williams Robbie Williams is being questioned by police in the Bahamas.

The move follows an armed robbery of two photographers on the island.

Paparazzos Matt Sanchez of Splash News and Carlos Mendez, an American freelancer, claim that four armed men broke into their rented room in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The photographers reportedly had an argument with Robbie's entourage while trying to snap him on the beach the day before.

Police superintendent Ellsworth Moss, who is heading the investigation, said the pop star was not being treated as a suspect.

"We don't think he was the one who actually committed the robbery, but it may have been a spin-off or may have been triggered by what reportedly happened with his party on the beach," he told the Press Association.

Assistant commissioner Raymond Gibson added that two men were in custody in connection with the case.

Robbie's agent in the UK has so far declined to comment.
