How very dare anyone get their claws into the beautiful vampire that is Robert Pattinson?

But on closer inspection of the hot gossip, we put away our fangs and breathed a huge sigh of relief...

Nobody has sunk their venom into the Twilight star, just yet.

Robert spoke out about recent rumours that he's dating his co-star.

Celebville has been buzzing with tales that the 22-year-old is dating 19-year-old Kirsten Stewart.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actor with the come-to-bed eyes says it's all nonsense. 

"There was some magazine the other day about me and Kristen and when you look at it and realise it's on the front of a magazine.

"You realise that people are actually reading that even though how ridiculous it is. It's really bizarre."

Don't tease us Rob. That is a definite claim to singledom, isn't it?

The poor lamb reckons all the interest in who he's kissing has turned him into a "paranoid wreck" and he says he'd be unsure how to deal with a new relationship.

But the kind-hearted fellow says he won't be afflicting his presence on any poor girls: "I'm always really worried about ruining their lives.

"Especially with people that aren't famous. It's such a massive change."

We appreciate the sentiment, but we reckon we could live with the trauma.
