So it's no surprise Kirsten Dunst's rumoured new squeeze is a wild child.

And he's the frontman of a band too.

A year on from hooking up with Razorlight singer Johnny Borrell, Kirsten is said to have fallen for Andrew VanWyngarden.

Aside from his crazy name, Andrew is the lead singer of hip Brooklyn band MGMT, which might make him hot business as far as indie chick Kirsten is concerned.

A source told The Sun:Andrew Vanwyngarden

"Kirsten met Andrew at a gig in New York in July, and set her sights on him then.

"She was then backstage with him at Lowlands in Holland and Pukkelpop in Belgium earlier this month."

There's no word from Kirsten's people yet on whether this romance is for real.

But we have to say it's all rather exciting - another rocker romance is probably exactly what Kirsten needs.
