Ding, ding - we've got the latest instalment in a Celebville skirmish.
First Lindsay Lohan reportedly laid down the gauntlet of hostility...
And now Scarlett Johansson has responded to the canon's (verbal) roar.
Remember when Li-Lo allegedly scrawled offensive words about Scar on the back of a public bathroom door in New York more than two years ago?
Well, it's taken her a little while, but now Scarlett has responded to the never proved missive.
"I really don't know that person. I only met her, like, three times," Scarlett said of Li-Lo in an interview with Allure magazine.
Pressed about the alleged NY graffiti incident, the actress replied:
"I don't know what the motivation was behind that. I remember it was something really vulgar - I mean, shockingly so, like, 'Whoa, what, who are you?'"
Verbal exchanges aside, we can't really think why the two Hollywood stars fell out in the first place.
The only time they appear to have crossed paths was when both auditioned for 1998 flick The Parent Trap - with the role eventually going to a 13-year-old Li-Lo.
Seriously, isn't it time to kiss 'n' make up, ladies? As the celebs in our gallery below know only too well, a showbiz feud is never worth it...
