But not all of the star sprogs grow up to be happy about it.

Peaches Geldof, for one, detests her "weird" name.

Her moniker in full is: Peaches Honeyblossom Michelle Charlotte Angel Vanessa Geldof.

And the daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates has vented her spleen in a Smash Hits collumn called "I hate".

She said: "I hate ridiculous names... My weird name has haunted me all my life."

Her three sisters haven't got off lightly either. There's Fifi Trixibelle and Pixie and then Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily, her sibling from her late mum's relationship with Michael Hutchence.

Her sisters with Sir BobHer sisters with Sir BobAnd Sir Bob's girl isn't too keen on the Geldof bit either, adding: "I hate being famous... People claim to know me because of my surname."

Peaches' other pet hates include being called spoilt because "my life is ordinary"; TV's You Are What You Eat diet guru Gillian McKeith; and the countryside - "I shudder at the thought," she said.

Well, in the name stakes we think it could have been worse.
