Brody Talks Of Nic Split

So us mere norms (that's normal, non-famous types) don't get to know the reasons behind their splits.

Which bugs us, because we're nosy.

But Nicole Richie's former boyf Brody Jenner has come clean about the reason they broke up.

And apparently it was down to constant arguing.

Nic and Brody have been friends since childhood and dated for two months before calling it a day in early October 2006.

He told Star magazine: "It was getting too serious. We started fighting. There was too much bickering."

He also explained one of the reasons they started dating in first place, adding: "She lived above me, you know, in the apartment building. So it was convenient.

"I've known her since we were kids and I really just wanted to be friends. She's a great girl and now we are good friends."

That's what we like to hear.

Brody is reportedly dating The Hills reality TV star Lauren Conrad, while Nicole has been spotted out and about with French fashion editor Samuel Plouchart.
